Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, together with the app-store licence below, the end-user licence agreement or “EULA”) govern your use of Thợ Cam, a field toolkit for camera and network installers developed by Kaifuz Studio (“Kaifuz Studio”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using Thợ Cam you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The licence we grant you

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Thợ Cam on devices you own or control, including in your work as an installer or technician. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent the law expressly permits; or remove any proprietary notices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Kaifuz Studio.

Authorised use only

Thợ Cam can scan networks and change settings on cameras, recorders and other network devices — including their IP address, clock and on-screen text, rebooting them and, where supported, restoring factory settings. Only use it on networks and devices you own or are authorised to manage, with logins you are entitled to use. Do not use Thợ Cam to access devices that are not yours, to circumvent any device security, or to view or record people or places where you have no right to. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your work and to the footage you view.

Your responsibility for changes

Changes you make with Thợ Cam take effect on real equipment. A device may lose its connection after an IP change or a factory reset, and results such as coverage drawings, cable estimates, stream checks and suggestions are aids, not guarantees. Check the result on site before handing a system over. Reports, plans and quotes you produce with the app are your own documents, and you are responsible for their content.

Purchases

Thợ Cam has a free version and an optional PRO upgrade, planned as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase. Purchases are made and processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play — we never see your card or billing details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Prices and the exact features included are shown in the app before you buy. Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policies.

Activation codes bought on our website. PRO for the Windows and Linux versions can be bought as an activation code at thocam.kaifuz.com/buy by bank transfer (VietQR). Each code has the plan, duration and number of devices shown before you pay. The code appears on your order page and in your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. If you sign in to the same Thợ Cam account in the app on another device, the code can be used there too, taking one of its device slots. You can remove devices yourself up to 3 times in any 30 days; after that, contact us. Refunds: you get a full refund within 7 days of payment if the code has not been activated on any device; after activation, refunds are given only if the product is defective and we cannot fix it. Refunds are paid by bank transfer within 7 business days. The seller, payment, delivery, refund and complaint policies are published on thocam.kaifuz.com.

App-store terms

Your use is also subject to the rules of the store you downloaded from. For Apple, the standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies and, where it conflicts with these Terms, governs the Apple-provided licence. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its support, but a store may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary.

Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Thợ Cam Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Thợ Cam is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows; we do not warrant compatibility with any particular camera, recorder, firmware or network, or that every device on a network will be found. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaifuz Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, footage, downtime or device misconfiguration, arising from your use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using Thợ Cam at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Licence restrictions, disclaimers and the limitation of liability survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. The date above shows when they were last revised; continuing to use Thợ Cam after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Kaifuz Studio's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
