A test build for camera installers and network technicians. It is still in testing and may have bugs, so double-check results before relying on it for important jobs.

  AppImage for Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12, Fedora and Arch (glibc 2.35+). First Linux build: only tried in test containers so far, so tell us what breaks.

  Install and verify

  chmod +x ThoCam-1.0.2-linux-x86_64-beta.AppImage && ./ThoCam-1.0.2-linux-x86_64-beta.AppImage Needs FUSE 2 (sudo apt install libfuse2); without it add --appimage-extract-and-run.

  With the tar.gz: unpack and run ./tho_cam; ./install.sh adds a menu entry. Saving sign-in needs GNOME Keyring or KWallet.

  Please report problems with video, Wi-Fi scan, PDF export or sign-in.

About this beta

• PRO is unlocked for free during the beta (until December 31, 2026). The app asks our server for a PRO “lease”, so it needs internet on first launch and now and then.
• Scanning, live view and setup only work with devices on your local network.
