Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, together with the app-store licence below, the end-user licence agreement or “EULA”) govern your use of KaiCleaner, a photo- and video-tidying app developed by Kaifuz Studio (“Kaifuz Studio”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using KaiCleaner you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The licence we grant you

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use KaiCleaner on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent the law expressly permits; or remove any proprietary notices. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Kaifuz Studio.

Acceptable use and your media

KaiCleaner works on the photos and videos in your own library, on your device. You are responsible for the media you organise with it and for keeping your own backups. KaiCleaner never deletes anything automatically — deletions happen only when you confirm them through the system photo library — but you use those controls at your own discretion, and we are not responsible for media you choose to remove. Do not use the app unlawfully or to circumvent its purchase.

KaiCleaner Pro — a one-time purchase

KaiCleaner is free to use, with an optional KaiCleaner Pro upgrade. Pro is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no advertising. It is sold and processed by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, not by us; we never see your card or billing details. A purchase is tied to your store account, so the store’s “restore purchases” function re-enables Pro on your devices. Except where the law or the store’s policy requires it, the purchase is non-refundable, and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

App-store terms

Your use is also subject to the rules of the store you downloaded from. For Apple, the standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies and, where it conflicts with these Terms, governs the Apple-provided licence. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its support, but a store may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary.

Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the KaiCleaner Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

KaiCleaner is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaifuz Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or media, arising from your use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using KaiCleaner at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Licence restrictions, disclaimers and the limitation of liability survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. The date above shows when they were last revised; continuing to use KaiCleaner after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Kaifuz Studio’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
